PING TOUR NEWS: July 6, 2020

HATTON HUMMING

Tyrrell Hatton was playing superbly before wrist surgery last fall, and since returning his game has been the picture of health. In four PGA Tour events this season, the Englishman has finished T6, 1st, T3, and he was T4 Sunday at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. In those tourneys the world's 15th-ranked player is 53 under par.

Norwegian Viktor Hovland's strong season continued at the Rocket Mortgage, where he was T12, following a T11 the previous week. The rookie won the Puerto Rico Open in Febriuary.

DRIVERS #1 AGAIN

PING was the #1 brand of driver for the second straight week on the Korn Ferry Tour, where 39 drivers were gamed at the TPC Colorado Championship. G410 models dominated the PING count with 28 in play; of those, G410 LST led the way with 15.

At the event, two PING pros had their best results of the season. Chase Johnson was solo 2nd, highlighed by a 9-under 63 on Saturday. Stephan Jaeger was T3.
